«Metalmont was created almost by chance. In 1985, a friend asked for my help in managing his struggling light carpentry company in Revine Lago in the Province of Treviso, and I accepted the challenge. The first thing I did was to streamline the working schedule by removing all the unprofitable projects, enhancing at the same time, all the most profitable customers. Then, given the good state of the equipment and all its potential,
my business partners and I decided to buy the company. Since the beginning, I turned integrity towards the suppliers and the high quality of the projects delivered to the customers into the cornerstones of my profession.
The sense of responsibility towards the work of my employees, the will to give continuity to what I have built over the years and a simple intuition led me to focus on the development of the technical department and the creation of Metalmont-branded products. Thus, the first large manufacturing plant for grain handling equipment was established in early 2000. In 2010, despite the economic crisis, I doubled the surface area of the manufacturing facility: we needed wider spaces to assemble large machines.
I wanted to build the perfect products for the farming sector, machines which are well-built and even pleasing to the eyes. To do so, I have never ceased to invest in cutting-edge equipment such as fully automated laser plants and machining centres, while also counting on the skills of my collaborators and their professional growth potentialities. I wanted to share my achievements with them by providing a safe workplace in a clean and tidy working environment free from any dangers. The addition to the company of my son Iacopo, as management engineer, with years of expertise acquired working with large multinational companies, both in Italy and abroad, widens the horizons and allows me to look to the future with con dence».
