Aug 2021 “Reducing harvest losses together with Metalmont”: Farmers Review Africa
Africa represents a key geographical area for Metalmont and at the same time a great challenge. It is one of the continents most affected annually by climate and environmental problems: droughts, floods and invasions of locusts are just some of the possible risks underlying hunger and famine. For this reason, issues such as crop protection, food waste and losses reduction require more attention here than in any other corner of the world.
The United Nations Organization has included the so-called “ZERO HUNGER” goal among the most important and ambitious Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda and Metalmont wants to contribute to this goal. The article recently published in the African magazine “Farmers Review Africa” explains how Metalmont products can help improve the activity of operators in the agricultural sector to reduce waste and loss of food.
