Metalmont organizes its first training event in Africa

On January 8, 2024, in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, Metalmont held its first training event organized on the African continent.

The training session, titled “Storage of Agricultural Products in Bulk” featured contributions from Iacopo Meghini and Andrea Kouame, who engaged with 20 Ivorian agricultural operators and stakeholders, including members of the Agence Nationale d’Appui au Développement Rural (ANADER) and representatives of the FAO.

During the session, participants identified the key challenges, needs, and solutions to reduce post-harvest food losses caused by inadequate storage systems.

This event marks the first in a series of training initiatives that the company plans to organize in various African countries over the coming years, continuing its concrete contribution to the achievement of Goal 2 of the 2030 Agenda: Zero Hunger.
