SEED project: a bridge between school and business

The SEED (Social Innovation Ecosystem Development) project, an initiative co-founded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union, which had European schools and companies as main characters, has recently ended.

The aim of the project is to promote and facilitate communication between school and business through guiding figures such as company tutors, school mentors and by using innovative and simplified digital project management and marketing tools.

Metalmont „launched the challenge“ to 6 high school guys and girls, 3 students from Vittorio Veneto and 3 from Maribor, Slovenia. The goal is to obtain design metal objects from production waste in a circular economy perspective, to be designed, manufactured and sold.

The students had the opportunity to test their technical and economic skills and competences during the course of study alongside the company tutor and the teachers involved.
