Mrz 2021 Towards a sustainable and long-term business in Africa: Metalmont becomes a member of the Association “Confindustria Assafrica & Mediterraneo”
During its 25 years of activity in the Agritech sector, Metalmont has had the opportunity to carry out several projects on the African continent: Ivory Coast, Egypt, South Africa are just some of the countries where our machines were installed. These projects have allowed Metalmont to acquire, on one hand, valuable experience in the management of some particular products such as cocoa beans, and on the other, to understand the great potential of this continent.
With the membership to “Confindustria Assafrica & Mediterraneo”, the company’s goal and commitment become those of increasing its presence in Africa, Middle East and Mediterranean area, developing a sustainable and long-term business, based on attention to local cultural and social peculiarities, on particularities of the grown crops and on the specific needs of farmers, traders and other operators of the African agricultural sector.
