This machine, which weighs almost 4 tons, is 7 meters long, 2.5 meters wide and reaches a height of 4 meters. In nominal operating conditions it can clean up to 300 tons \/ h of wheat. The design, construction, installation and the complete start-up have been a source of pride for Metalmont, because of the technical result achieved, the operating conditions and the performance required by the user.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 26px;\">The Rotary Cleaner with aspiration, <a href=\"http:\/\/metalmont.it\/en\/products\/rotary-cleaners\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">PRD series<\/a>, is used for the pre-cleaning of wheat, corn, barley and other cereals, before the drying process. Its main purpose is to eliminate the coarse impurities from the just harvested product, reducing considerably the risk of damaging the dryer or other equipment downstream of the plant. This machine is also used for the fine cleaning of the product before the ensiling or before delivery, thanks to an effective suction-decanting system. On one hand this system allows the pre-separation of the heaviest suctioned parts, on the other hand it improves the extraction of the lighter parts through aspiration.
